-Working principle:
The Polymetron 9582 dissolved oxygen analyzer is based on the Clark battery principle, and the oxygen permeable membrane of the probe separates the water sample from the electrode, so there is no need to adjust the sample. Other reducing or oxidizing ions will not interfere with the measurement as they cannot pass through the breathable membrane.
Apply a constant voltage to both electrodes to maintain a constant potential for each electrode. The gold working electrode (cathode) will reduce dissolved oxygen in the water sample to hydroxide ions: O2+ 2H2O + 4e---> 4OH
The oxidation reaction occurs on the surface of a large silver electrode (anode):4Ag++ 4Br---> 4AgBr + 4e
-
The above oxidation-reduction reactions generate diffusion currents, which are proportional to the concentration of dissolved oxygen. The dissolved oxygen analyzer converts the measured current into the concentration of dissolved oxygen in the water sample and displays it on the screen.
-Typical applications:
The Polymetron 9582 dissolved oxygen analyzer can be used in power plants, semiconductor factories, and other places to analyze low concentration (ppb) dissolved oxygen such as deoxygenated water.
-Features and advantages:
The Polymetron 9582 dissolved oxygen analyzer adopts the electrochemical probe method, which is in line with the habits of more users and is classic and reliable.
The calibration speed is fast, and it takes less than 15 minutes to complete the calibration from ppm level to ppb level.
The detection limit is low, with a minimum detection limit of<1 ppb.
The Polymetron 9582 dissolved oxygen analyzer uses a universal 9500 controller for easy integration.
